MultiPost collects information to provide better services to all our users. We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you give us: For example, our services require you to sign up for an account. When you do, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, email address, or telephone number.
- Social Media Data: When you connect your social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), we collect data necessary to manage your posts and display metrics as authorized by you through the respective platform's OAuth process.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect MultiPost and our users.
We use the data from your social media accounts solely to facilitate the scheduling, posting, and analytics tracking that you initiate within our platform. We do not sell your personal data or social media content to third parties.
3. Information Security
We work hard to protect MultiPost and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:
- We encrypt our services using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
- We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to MultiPost employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us.
4. Transparency and Choice
People have different privacy concerns. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. You can disconnect any social media channel at any time from your dashboard settings.

We do not sell your personal data or social media content to third parties.
6. YouTube Data Access Policy
Our platform allows users to connect their YouTube channel to publish and manage videos from a single dashboard. We use the YouTube scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube solely to enable the following features:
- Secure connection of the user’s YouTube channel
- Uploading videos on behalf of the user
- Editing video metadata such as title, description, tags, thumbnail, and privacy settings
- Scheduling video publication
We only access YouTube data necessary to perform user-requested actions. We do not sell, share, or use YouTube data for advertising or any unrelated purposes. All actions are performed only after explicit user consent. Users may revoke access at any time through their Google account permissions. 7. Data Retention and Deletion
We only retain Google user data for as long as necessary to provide and improve our services.
- If the user disconnects their Google/YouTube account, we immediately delete all associated data from our servers.
- Users can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us at support@multipost.social.
- Any stored data is automatically deleted within 30 days after it is no longer required.
We do not store user data longer than necessary and do not use it for purposes unrelated to the functionality of the application.
8. Facebook and Instagram Data Usage & API Permissions
MultiPost allows users to connect their Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts to create, manage, and analyze social media content directly from our dashboard. We access platform data only after explicit user authorization via the official Meta OAuth process.
Data We Access and Why
- Post Creation: We use Facebook and Instagram publishing permissions to create and publish posts, images, videos, and captions on behalf of the user.
- Post Deletion: We allow users to delete posts that were created through our platform using the respective platform’s API endpoints.
- Engagement Metrics (Likes & Comments Count): We retrieve aggregated engagement metrics such as total likes, comments count, and basic insights for posts in order to display analytics within the dashboard. We do not access private user conversations or personal follower data.
- Account Metadata: We access basic profile information such as Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, username, and profile picture to correctly identify and manage connected accounts.
Limited Use of Data
MultiPost does not sell, rent, or share Facebook or Instagram data with third parties. All data accessed via Meta APIs is used strictly to provide user-requested functionality including publishing, scheduling, post management, and performance analytics.
We only store minimal required identifiers (such as Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, and access tokens) securely to maintain connection functionality. Users may disconnect their Facebook or Instagram account at any time, which revokes our access immediately.
Compliance
Our use of Facebook and Instagram data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We only access data necessary to perform actions explicitly initiated by the user.
